- Activities provide opportunities for baby to explore with a roll, tap, slide or spin.
- Includes a variety of music styles for baby to enjoy.
- Comes with either blue or green legs to attach to table as baby grows.
- Introduces shapes, numbers and counting 1-10 in English and Spanish.
The sturdy, plastic-molded, brightly colored table sits flat on the floor for babies to play at while sitting. You can attach the table's legs to adjust it to accommodate toddlers' play while standing. And it offers plenty of activities at different levels of learning to keep your child entertained for these early developmental years. Your child will delight in spinning the maraca to hear a fun rendition of the ABC song; playing the colored piano keys to practice motor skills and learn about colors; moving the trombone's slide to count to 10; and sliding the cello to learn about up and down. Kids can tap on the colorful drum and learn about colors and primary shapes, too. Then, by flipping the pages of the "book" to go from the Learning Mode to the Music Mode, kids can hear more than 40 songs and melodies, including nursery rhymes and fun individual instrument sounds that will have them singing and dancing.
Plenty to Do, Lots to Learn
With all of these activities, your child will exercise his or her memory and problem-solving skills with lots of things to push, pull, turn, open, and close. And with the flip of a switch, the songs and games switch from English to Spanish, offering a great introduction to foreign-language learning. The Learn & Groove Musical Table requires some assembly and needs 3 AA batteries for operation. Batteries are not included.

My four year old got this for Christmas as he loves singing, listening to music, and striking things around the house to make sounds.
Contrary to the prior review that notes the set is very small, I think that it's a great size for this age group. If the drums were much larger, it would be difficult for my son to get to each one. He sits in the chair, controls the bass drum with his feet and beats up on the snare drum, cymbal, and the third drum on the right side.
This is exactly what I was looking for...this isn't a professional set. I got it to see how my boy interacts with it--an introduction to drumming sounds. It's in their playroom between their study table and bean bags and he stops by the set every now and then, sits down, and plays to his heart's content. Sometimes he just bangs at it without even sitting down! The set also has electronic/lighted areas on the front that directs kids how to play/which drums to strike to carry a beat. My son doesn't use that at all. Maybe he will later, but now it's all about hitting the drums and cymbals to his own beat. He plays with it for a total of 10-15 minutes daily despite all the Wii games, board games, DS games, bikes, hot wheels cars, leap-frog tag books, dvd's, and everything else he and his sister have strewn all over the house...and that's good enough for me!
Every time I hear the clanging from the playroom I just smile and go in and watch him. I'll take a picture of him next to it and post it to give others an idea of the set's size.
Happy New Year!
By J. Barchenski
I ordered this drum set for my 4 yr. old son. I picked it because it was higher priced and therefore I thought it would be higher quality. I was wrong! It was awful and I was completely disappointed. We never even put it together the quality was that cheap. Cardboard and hard plastic. It was so tiny that it would have worked for a one year old but not a 4 year old. If you want to spend a lot of money for no quality - this drum is for you.

What a wonderful product. Well constructed and fun to play, this little invention is loved by my daughter and myself who both have fun playing it. This instrument really is just a harmonica with buttons but I find the 8 note major scale is very intuitive and allows my little one to experiment with various melodies (and harmonies when you press more than one button at a time).

Nice look as opposed to many others I've seen. Not sure how well it will hold up with a 3 year old? The sound is pleasant and I think a much better bet than buying a pre-programmed electronic sax which could drive you crazy. Also this allows more imaginative play. Great toy.

If you have experienced (are you experienced?) southern California's The Has Bins, then you know the true value of this toy saxophone. Or, should we say, the "Saxofaux" as the Has Bins call it. The perfect addition to jazzy ballads, rhythm and blues, and plain old good time rock and roll!
To see this toy sax played passionately, the way its creators surely meant, check out the Has Bins at their next concert engagement.[...]

Our daughter (6) asked Santa for a trumpet for Christmas and this is the only "toy" trumpet that was available for her age. We got the product in the mail and it was very cheaply made and we worry every time she uses it if it's going to break. It looks real enough, but isn't worth the money for the quality of the product. Very lightweight plastic and will probably break the first time she drops it on a hard floor, but at least Santa was able to deliver!
By Leora (Michigan, USA)
I got this for my four year old nephew for Christmas. Out of the dozens of toys opened that day, by five cousins aged four to eight, two girls and three boys, this was what everyone wanted to play with (even two of the grownups). The sound quality is good enough that I did not even mind hearing it almost nonstop for most of the day. It was very easy for all the kids to play recognizable songs.
By Jeffrey Laster (Tampa, Florida)
The Trumpet is very poorly made and does not work at all. A total waste of money and a "ripoff."
By A. Jones
I was disapointed to find that the trumpet had 4 keys, since a real trumpet only has 3. I understand that they need the 4th key to be able to play the song, but educationally, you're confusing the kids when they see a real trumpet.
By Karyn Graves
My 3 year old could play my husbands trumpet using the proper lip technique, but it was too heavy. So, we bought him this one. It's nice and light, but not at all like a real instrument. All you do is blow and you have to have a key pressed to make a note, so you are limited to 4 notes. Very disappointing and not educational.
